Bonsai wire is used to wrap around branches and trunks to shape and style your bonsai. The wire is specifically designed to be strong, pliable and hold the desired shape of the bonsai tree.
Copper wire is Ideal for use on pines and junipers, however it can be used on any bonsai. Although copper wire is a little different to use than aluminium wire, once mastered you will be rewarded with a result that is desired by bonsai masters.
Copper bonsai wire is stronger and more stable than aluminium wire, resulting in a smaller gauge wire required to hold a branch in position, making it less obvious on your bonsai tree.
Our annealed copper wire is a professional product manufactured in Australia and Japan.
We recommend to pair with wire cutters to cut the wire to the desired length and for removal of wire when the branches are set into position.
Jin pliers are a valuable tool when working with bonsai wire due to the shape of the plier nose making it easier to wire into position, resulting in a professional finish.
