The Japanese Diamond Sharpening File features a diamond surface on each side, with #240 and #400 mesh options available.
The comfortable long reach handle makes it easy to use. It can be used dry, eliminating the need for oil or water.
For the best results, we recommend cleaning your tools with crean mate and camellia oil before sharpening to remove any sap build up or surface rust that could cause the file to clog.
When the sharpening is complete add a little camellia oil to your tools.
To grind out small chips or to improve a very dull blade we recommend using a Whetstone prior to refining the blade with the file
