Crean Mate - Full and Half size block
Use Crean Mate tool cleaner pad in conjunction with camellia oil to help remove rust and sap from stainless steel and carbon steel bonsai tools. Use a few drops of camellia oil on the pad and rub over the area to be cleaned. We recommended this step before conducting your sharpening, with either a diamond file or whetstone to avoid clogging your sharpening device with sap or rust.
This simple maintenance process ensures a smoother action, improves longevity and makes your bonsai tools feel like new.
Tip: The Crean Mate cleaner may also be useful to remove scale build up on bonsai pots. For this purpose, apply the same process as with the tools but use caution. Always test on a small, inconspicuous area of the pot before applying to the whole surface to avoid any potential damage.
Versatile: Can also be used on kitchen knifes and other tools that require similar care.
Our blocks are more economical, and is easier to hold and use than thinner blocks.
