These traditional Japanese forged bypass secateurs are made using time honoured forging techniques and high-quality Japanese drop forged carbon steel, delivering reliable performance, durability, and clean, precise cuts.

Designed with a traditional Japanese blade angle, the bypass blades slice smoothly through branches and stems, helping reduce crushing and supporting healthy plant growth. The razor-sharp, mirror-polished cutting edges provide excellent control and cutting efficiency across a wide range of garden tasks.

The standard size forged Kiyohide body offers a comfortable, well balanced feel in the hand, while the built-in locking mechanism allows for safe storage when not in use. A replaceable wishbone spring ensures long-term serviceability, making these secateurs a practical tool for regular use.

Finished with a classic matte body and polished blades, these secateurs are both functional and refined making them a thoughtful gift for gardeners, bonsai enthusiasts, and horticultural professionals.

Ideal for

  • General garden pruning of branches and stems
  • Reduction and maintenance of bonsai growing material
